Do you need to book a table?
We always recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends, Sunday roasts, and special events. Walk-ins are welcome where space allows, but booking guarantees your table and preferred time.

Do you allow dogs?
Yes, we are indeed a dog-friendly country pub. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all bar areas, our dining domes and of course outside. Water bowls are available, and we’re ideally located for countryside walks nearby, and 15 minutes from Sherwood Forest.

Do you have parking?
Yes, we offer on-site parking for our guests. Additional parking is available in our overflow field parking, if required during busy periods or events.

Do you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?
Yes, we cater for a range of dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please inform a member of the team when booking or ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate you safely.

Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we offer outdoor seating, including seasonal summer spaces and garden areas. These are very popular in warmer months, we do not take table reservations outside.

Are you family friendly?
Yes, we are a family-friendly pub and welcome guests of all ages. We regularly host family events, brunches and children are very much welcome

Do you host events and experiences?
Yes, we run a variety of events throughout the year including live music, themed brunches, seasonal celebrations, and family events. Visit our “What’s On” page to see upcoming events.

Can I hire the pub for a private event?
Yes, we have a dedicated event area and room, called The Stables which we offer private hire for a range of occasions including birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and corporate events. We have tailored packages available depending on your requirements.

Do you offer wedding packages?
Yes, we offer intimate and bespoke wedding packages in a relaxed country pub setting. Please visit our weddings page or contact us directly to discuss your plans.

What type of food do you serve?
We serve a modern country pub menu featuring seasonal dishes, premium ingredients, and a mix of classics and contemporary options. This includes Sunday roasts, brunch, tapas and regular menu specials. We change our menus seasonally and inline with local produce

Do you serve Sunday roast?
Yes, Sunday roast is one of our most popular days. We recommend booking in advance as availability can be limited. We do take walk ins, where it allows, but having the Best Sunday Roast in Nottingham, its always best to book to guarantee availability at your preferred time.

Do you have live music?
Yes, we regularly host live music events. We have Live Music in the bar every Friday evening. We also host accoustic music out on our terraces and Pizza & Sax summer evenings. These vary throughout the year, so check our events page or social media for upcoming dates and to see whats on.

Is there a dress code?
We have no dress code. We aim to provide a relaxed but premium country pub atmosphere.

Do you take card payments?
Yes, we accept all major debit and credit cards. Contactless payments are also available.

Do you take cash payments?
Yes, we accept cash.
